Heritage, 2022 The works of the “Heritage” series are inspired by the heritage line, which is the foundation of Louis Quatorze brand design. It claims a style called ‘sculpture painting’ by simplifying the unique design of the heritage line and adding paintings to the surface like graffiti so that the combined result of both sculpture like bag and graffiti like painting create ‘sculpture painting’ style. Her painting method is spraying paint on the medium for her graffiti style painting and when her work meet with ‘tagging’ that a message the artist leaves in the work as water mark or signature shows the unique traces of the artist in ‘sculpture painting’ more deeply.

Artist Biography Artist Hyang-ro Yoon experiments with the possibility of abstract painting based on contemporary imaging technology. Her main work is called ‘Pseudo Painting’ and this experimental style of her work uniquely reveals the artist's various attempts through similar paintings using various images that have left traces in the history of popular culture and painting through the algorithm of an image editing program.
